Here are some concepts and tips to combat fraud:
DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
GUUDS will never email or call you asking you to reveal or verify your GUUDS account password, bank account or credit card numbers, or any other personal information. In the event that someone contacts you or receives an unsolicited email that asks for any of the above information, please do not respond and notify GUUDS immediately so that we can proceed with the investigation of the incident.
HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE EMAILS?
Ignore any email you receive that asks for personal information or redirects you to a website other than Guuds.com or Guuds.es, or asks you to pay outside of Guuds.com or the gateway Banco Sabadell payment method, since it could be an attempt at identity theft ('spoofing' or 'phishing'), and you should consider it fraudulent.
GUUDS uses the endings “@guudscosmetics.es” or “@guudscosmetics.com” for emails. If you receive an email with a different format, you can be sure that it is a fake email. Some phishing emails contain links to websites that use the word "Guuds" in their URL, but will take you to a completely different website. If you hover your mouse over the link, you will be able to see the associated URL, which will likely be formatted differently than those linked on authentic Guuds websites. If you still click on a phishing email and are redirected to a page that looks like "Your Profile" or to any that asks you to verify or change your personal information, ignore it and consider it fraudulent.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU ENCOUNTER A PHISHING ATTEMPT?
Send an email to the address guudscostumer@guudscosmetics.com and attach the email you consider to be false. By attaching this fraudulent email to us, you are helping us trace its origin. If you are unable to attach the fake email, please forward it to guudscostumer@guudscosmetics.com and include as much information about it as possible.
